RUSH PROCESS.
Mu Chapter's rush process is a little different than other fraternities at UA. There are two main rush events held yearly, at the beginning of the Fall and Spring academic semesters. Our recruitment events are open to all engineering majors at the University of Alabama. Missed our rush events? No worries––we still want to meet you! First 2-3 weeks of semester
Mu Chapter releases a calendar of events on our social media for all of our recruitment campaigns. These events are hosted on campus, and range from everything from video game nights to pro-dev talks. Come stop by to introduce yourself learn about us!
Interviews
End of rush
Like what you see? We'd love to learn more about you in our formal interview process. Several brothers will interview you to learn more about your passions and aspirations and determine if you're a good fit for our fraternity.
Bids & Pledge Program
Post-rush
If we think you're a good fit for us, Mu Chapter will extend a bid to you to join our brotherhood. From there you will participate in an 8 week new member education program to integrate you with both your pledge brothers and our active members. We'll also teach you our history. Our pledge process is a mix between the national pledge program and our own chapter traditions.
